One of the best trout streams in the U.S., for the passionate Trout Angler, the Colorado River has fantastic trout fishing throughout most areas as well as the fantastic tailwater below Glen Canyon Dam in northern Arizona. If you are fly fishing, plan to hit the salmonfly hatchery in Colorado during the month of June. Hire a local outfitter to float you through the best water to the best fishing. A second destination for any Trout Angler is the San Juan River in Colorado.
